People express their views on various social issues in our society through wirtings, speeches or art. Street artist Igor Dobrowolski is among those who rely on art to express his thoughts. Using stunning hyper-realistic paintings, this young artist (who started painting just four years ago) highlights various social problems in an artistic way.

His impressive works of art illustrate problems like depression, war, death, homelessness, addiction, lack of empathy and narcissism. He believes that suffering is the binding agent of all the problems around us and hope is what we all need for surviving. While focusing on the problems in the society, the artist aims to tell us that all these problems are not great. In fact, these problems are virtually non-existent if we compare them to tragedy.

Through his art, he wants to change people’s perspective of looking at social issues as big problems. As ultimately a particle of hope is what we require to survive even during the biggest tragedies in life. With the hope to create something valuable for people suffering from different issues in their life, the artist keeps on creating these gorgeous paintings that illustrate some form of sadness but a ray of hope at the same time.

According to Dobrowolski, empathy is an essential yet very underestimated feature in life. It can lead to some solutions or help some people in finding ways for better life. We need to appreciate ordinary things in life and we need to utilize time in the best way possible.
