A group IIT-Kharagpur researchers led by professor Sudip Misra recently developed the country’s indigenous superpower drone called BHIM. Named after the second Pandava from epic Mahabharat, this superpower drone has been designed to aid Indian armed forces at war zones for surveillance as well as disaster relief.

Bengaluru-based artist Rohan Sharad Dahotre has imagined animals in tribal avatar if they had clothes. The talented illustrator aims to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and welfare through these tribal doodles. In his fun illustration series called ‘animal doodles’, he finds pictures of various animals and birds on the internet and makes artistic drawings over their silhouette.

Mumbai-based couple, Samit Choksi and Priya Vakil Choksi, has found a green solution to harvest rainwater and generate solar energy using Ulta Chaata (inverted umbrella). The couple runs a clean-tech startup Thinkphi that’s funded by serial entrepreneur Nimmagadda Prasad, who has earlier invested in successful companies like Matrix Laboratories, Care Hospitals, and also Sachin Tendulkar’s IPL team Kerala Blasters.
