Human hands are of enormous importance due to their complex abilities that help us excel our skills – no matter which industry we belong. In his latest photography series, Lebanese photographer Omar Reda has tried to capture the beauty of human hands that are telling their unique stories.
You don’t need someone to read your palm lines and tell about your life. Sometimes a look at your hands can uncover their struggle, burden or passage of life you’ve chosen. According to Reda, our hands reveal a lot about ourselves, just like our eyes. Earlier mankind used hands to ignite fire, hunt, fight and other survival actions.
Over the centuries, hands remained one of the important parts of the human body – helping us to do daily tasks, as well as, shaping up our careers in different industries. To capture details of human hands in this particular photo series, Reda travelled around the world and met many people from tribes, villages, and cities. It was not easy for him to click these pictures, as many people called him crazy and some even suspected him to be an undercover police officer who is trying to take their fingerprints.
However, he managed to get the desired snaps, revealing life struggles of people across the world. In the photographs given below, you can see hands of tribal people, carpenters, barbers, and many more. Their hands do reveal something or the other about their professional struggles and hardships in life. Don’t believe us? Have a look at the pictures yourself.
