Taking origami art (Japanese art of folding paper) to another level, Buenos Aires-based illustration studio Estudio Guardabosques creates intricate wildlife creatures using paper. The intricate paper-made animals and bird sculptures are made with a geometric flair, showing their love for wildlife.
The studio, founded by husband-wife duo: Carolina Silvero and Juan Elizalde, specializes in making things with paper, specifically involving nature. Their paper artworks depict simplified versions of a tiger, red fox, bear and other wild creatures. These paper animals are made by perforating and cutting paper to transform it into an elegant work of art.
These geometric artworks will appeal to avid animal lovers, as well as, those who love minimalist design details. Moreover, fans of animal origami may draw inspiration from this wondrous art collection, which includes various creatures found in different regions across the globe.
